Over the year with the support and dedication of members who have been dedicated to the cause, the golf course has constantly improved. Today the course is in enviable conditions much to the pleasure of the golfers. The club has a team of dedicated full time employees which runs the day to day affairs of the Club and the course. The employment of hundreds of course maintenance people and caddies has helped the local community over the years.

Coimbatore Golf Club has adopted innovative techniques in waste recycling water and using recycled water to help contribute to the Environment. The comparison of the surrounding areas gives an idea to the levels to which the trees and the greenery help the eco structure of the area.

A new 9 hole Learning course is being created as the Coimbatore Golf Academy to support development of golf with Juniors and work has already started on this project.

The Club boasts of quality player and the current National Amateur Champion Joseph Chakola Jr. hails from this club. With the development of the Golf Academy we are to see many new golf champions grow from this Club
